This work is not a history of New Testament times, nor an account of New Testament religion. Nor does it proceed from a view that the New Testament was written as theology. Leon Morris (Ph.D. University of Cambridge) now in his retirement, was formerly Principal of Ridley College, Melbourne, and has served as Visiting Professor of New Testament at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Great read

I've read several of Leon Morris's books, and this one keeps up to his standard. This book while an overview still was very insightful and encouraging. I read through it as a sort of daily devotional, but will continue to use it as a general reference.
